Karen is the Main Line’s go-to drapery designer creating sophisticated custom window coverings for designers and their clients who want impeccable custom products of the highest artisan quality.
She approaches her work with both a savvy design sense and a technical understanding, always educating herself on new innovations in the industry. Her vast technical knowledge about fibers and weaves and fabric construction helps her advise you as to the best choices for your project.
She is a passionate seamstress who started sewing at an early age and learned tailoring and couture sewing during her college years. She has many years managerial experience and has put that together with her technical knowledge and her passion for sewing fabrics to grow Drapery Design into a company well respected in the industry.

Darya Mizrachi
Workroom Manager
Darya has over 20 years of European-American craftsman seamstress experience. She has managed her to-the-trade workroom, Drapery Palace, with a team of very talented experienced workroom staff, including seamstresses and upholsterers. She has now partnered with Drapery Design to provide exceptional seamstress skills to maintain high-quality professional standards. In addition to fabrication, she provides measure and installation services for Drapery Design.
Karen Grizzanti
Pillow Workroom Lead
Karen is also a very skilled seamstress who has worked for Drapery Design for over 20 years. Currently, Karen is managing our large volume of pillow orders. This includes the impeccable fabrication, ordering and organizing of the pillow inserts, pillow ticking lining, and color-matched zippers.
If there are options for pattern placement, she will send photos for the designer to select their preference. She will also deliver the pillows to you when they are complete.
Heather Rabold Hill
Window Treatment Specialist
Heather has been in the window coverings industry since 2001. As the Window Treatment Specialist at Sheffield Furniture in Malvern for many years, she managed window covering projects for Sheffield designers. More recently, she has been a fabric sales rep for several national firms, gaining extensive knowledge of weaves and fibers to recommend fabric selections.
In 2023, Heather founded Hill Drapery Design. She continues to collaborate with Drapery Design while building her company.
